     Frederick Elton was born on 17 May 1818 at Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol, England.1 He was the son of John Elton and Sarah Whitchurch.1 He married Anne Jane Rice Glascott, daughter of Reverend Cradock John Glascott and Georgiana Goodin Bourke, on 18 April 1844 at Seaton, Devon, England.1 He died on 21 January 1891 at age 72 at Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England.1

     From 18 April 1844, her married name became Elton.1
