     He gained the title of Hereditary Prince Carol Victor of Albania in 1914.¹ He gained the title of Prinz von Wied.¹

     Marie Eleonore Prinzessin von Wied was born on 19 February 1909 at Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany^G.¹ She was the daughter of Wilhelm Friedrich Heinrich Prinz von Wied and Sophie Helene Cecilie Prinzessin von Schönburg-Waldenburg.¹ She married, firstly, Alfred Hugo Prinz von Schönburg-Waldenburg, son of Heinrich Prinz von Schönburg-Waldenburg and Olga Prinzessin zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg, on 16 November 1937 at Munich, Bavaria, Germany^G.¹ She married, secondly, Ion Octavian Bunea, son of Aureliu Bunea, on 5 February 1949 at Bucharest, Romania^G.¹ She died on 29 September 1956 at age 47 at internment camp, Miercurea Ciuc, Romania^G.¹
     She was given the name of Marie Eleonore Elisabeth Cecilie Mathilde Lucie at birth.¹ She gained the title of Prinzessin von Wied.¹ She gained the title of Princess Marie Eleonore of Albania in 1914.¹ From 5 February 1949, her married name became Bunea.

     Viktor Prinz von Wied was born on 7 December 1877. He was the son of Wilhelm Adolph Maximilian Karl Fürst von Wied and Marie von Nassau, Princess of the Netherlands. He married Gisela Klementine Christophora Karola Gräfin zu Solms-Wildenfels, daughter of Frederick Magnus IV Graf zu Solms-Wildenfels and Jacqueline Christine Anne Adelaide Gravin Bentinck, on 6 June 1912. He died on 1 March 1946 at age 68.
     He gained the title of Prinz von Wied.

     Gisela Klementine Christophora Karola Gräfin zu Solms-Wildenfels was born on 30 December 1891 at Wildenfels, Germany^G. She was the daughter of Frederick Magnus IV Graf zu Solms-Wildenfels and Jacqueline Christine Anne Adelaide Gravin Bentinck.¹ She married Viktor Prinz von Wied, son of Wilhelm Adolph Maximilian Karl Fürst von Wied and Marie von Nassau, Princess of the Netherlands, on 6 June 1912. She died on 20 August 1976 at age 84 at Oberammergau, Germany^G.

     Marie Elisabeth Prinzessin von Wied was born on 14 March 1913. She was the daughter of Viktor Prinz von Wied and Gisela Klementine Christophora Karola Gräfin zu Solms-Wildenfels. She died on 30 March 1985 at age 72 at Augsburg, Germany^G.
     She gained the title of Prinzessin von Wied.

     Benigna Viktoria Prinzessin von Wied was born on 23 July 1918. She is the daughter of Viktor Prinz von Wied and Gisela Klementine Christophora Karola Gräfin zu Solms-Wildenfels. She married Ernst Hartmann Baron von Schlotheim on 19 December 1939.
     She gained the title of Prinzessin von Wied. Her married name became von Schlotheim.

     Ernst Hartmann Baron von Schlotheim was born on 27 December 1914 at Wiesbaden, Hessen, Germany^G. He married Benigna Viktoria Prinzessin von Wied, daughter of Viktor Prinz von Wied and Gisela Klementine Christophora Karola Gräfin zu Solms-Wildenfels, on 19 December 1939. He died on 31 October 1952 at age 37 at Wiesbaden, Hessen, Germany^G.
