     Admiral George William Hughes-D’Aeth was born in 1786 at London, England.¹ He was the son of William Hughes and Harriet Hardy.¹ He married Harriot Knatchbull, daughter of Sir Edward Knatchbull, 8th Bt. and Frances Graham, on 20 August 1816 at Parish Church, Mersham, Kent, England.¹ He died in 1873 at Eastry, Kent, England.¹
     He was given the name of George William Hughes at birth.¹ In 1808 his name was legally changed to George William Hughes-D’Aeth on succeeding to the estate of Sir Narborough D’Aeth, 2nd Bt.¹

     George William Hughes-D’Aeth was born on 13 April 1825.¹ He was the son of Admiral George William Hughes-D’Aeth and Harriot Knatchbull.¹ He died on 18 December 1866 at age 41.¹

     Harriot Knatchbull was baptised on 11 January 1797 at Norton, Kent, England.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Edward Knatchbull, 8th Bt. and Frances Graham.¹ She married Admiral George William Hughes-D’Aeth, son of William Hughes and Harriet Hardy, on 20 August 1816 at Parish Church, Mersham, Kent, England.¹
     From 20 August 1816, her married name became Hughes-D’Aeth.¹

     Harriot Hughes-D’Aeth was born circa 1818 at Knowlton, Kent, England.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral George William Hughes-D’Aeth and Harriot Knatchbull.¹

     Frances Hughes-D’Aeth was born circa 1819 at Knowlton, Kent, England.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral George William Hughes-D’Aeth and Harriot Knatchbull.¹

     Louisa Hughes-D’Aeth was born circa 1821 at Knowlton, Kent, England.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral George William Hughes-D’Aeth and Harriot Knatchbull.¹

     Cloudesly Hughes-D’Aeth was born circa 1831 at Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He was the son of Admiral George William Hughes-D’Aeth and Harriot Knatchbull.¹ He died in 1869.¹
