     He was ancestor of the Powys-Lybbes of Hardwick.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Oxfordshire in 1739.²

     Isabella Lybbe was baptised on 12 January 1713 at Whitchurch on Thames, Oxfordshire, England.² She was the daughter of Richard Lybbe and Isabella Twysden.^1,2 She married Philip Powys, son of Sir Thomas Powys and Elizabeth Meadows, on 19 December 1730 at St. Bene’s, Pauls Wharf, London, England.^1,2 She died on 6 March 1761 at age 48 at Red Lion, Benson, Oxfordshire, England.²
     From 19 December 1730, her married name became Powys.¹

     John Girle was born circa 1702.¹ He married Barbara Slaney.² He died in 1761.¹
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)²

     Anne Lloyd is the daughter of Sir Richard Lloyd.¹ She married Edward Ravenscroft.¹
     Her married name became Powys.²
