     Sarah Mayer Latham was born on 28 December 1784.1 She was the daughter of John Latham and Mary Mayer.1 She married George Ormerod, son of George Ormerod and Elizabeth Johnson, on 2 August 1808.1 She died on 11 April 1860 at age 75.1
     From 2 August 1808, her married name became Ormerod.1

George Ormerod 2

     George Ormerod was born on 20 October 1785 at Tydesley, Lancashire, England.1 He was the son of George Ormerod and Elizabeth Johnson.3 He married Sarah Mayer Latham, daughter of John Latham and Mary Mayer, on 2 August 1808.1 He died on 9 October 1873 at age 87.1
     He was educated at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.4 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) on 16 February 1809.3 He wrote the book The History of the County Palatinate and City of Chester, published 1819.3 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) on 25 February 1819.3
