     Henry Spencer Woodhouse was born in 1847 at Marylebone, London, England.¹ He was the son of Henry Richard Woodhouse and Rosanna Louisa Mackay.¹

     Ethel Frances Lampen was born on 26 October 1867.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Lampen and Mary Corali Hobkirk.¹ She married Major Harry Williamson Macan Shewell, son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Shewell and Eleanor Ball Weeks.¹ She died in 1949.¹

     Edith Cape Flora Woodhouse was born in 1850 at Marylebone, London, England.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Richard Woodhouse and Rosanna Louisa Mackay.¹ She married Colonel John William Thring Hume, son of Major Bliss John Hume and Mary Thring, in 1879 at Marylebone, London, England.¹
     From 1879, her married name became Hume.¹

     Major Hugh Bliss Torriano Hume was born in 1880 at Farnham, Hampshire, England.¹ He was the son of Colonel John William Thring Hume and Edith Cape Flora Woodhouse.¹ He married Muriel Mary Wright in 1913 at Southwell, Nottinghamshire, England.¹ He died on 19 June 1935 at Heathworthy Headley Down Borden, Hampshire, England.² He was buried on 22 June 1935 at Churt, Surrey, England.²
     He fought in the Boer War in 1902.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Sherwood Foresters.¹
