Sir Arthur Levy Lever, 1st Bt.1 
He was given the name of Arthur Levy at birth.1 In 1896 his name was legally changed to Arthur Levy Lever by Deed Poll.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Harwich between 1906 and 1910.1 On 7 February 1911 his name was legally changed to Arthur Levy Lever by Royal Licence.1 He was created 1st Baronet Levy Lever, of Hans Crescent, Chelsea [U.K.] on 8 February 1911.1 He gained the rank of Major in the London Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Fusiliers.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (National Liberal) for Central Hackney between 1922 and 1923.1
