     Maj.-Gen. Sir George Bradshaw Stanistreet was born on 13 May 1866 at Malahide, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ He was the son of Dr. Richard Stanistreet and Frances Anna Bradshaw.¹ He died on 26 January 1941 at age 74.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1887 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1889 with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1889 with a Bachelor of Obstretic Arts (B.A.O.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1889 with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.Ch.)¹ He was commissioned on 28 July 1891 with the rank of Surgeon-Captain, in the service of the Army Medical Corps.¹ He fought in the North-West Frontier between 1897 and 1898.¹ He gained the rank of Major on 28 July 1903.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel on 13 September 1913.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1917.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel on 26 December 1917.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in 1918.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1918.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1922.¹

     Dr. Richard Stanistreet was the son of Richard Stanistreet.¹ He married Frances Anna Bradshaw, daughter of George Bradshaw, on 19 April 1855 at Thurles, County Tipperary, Ireland.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 3 February 1890 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹

     Frances Anna Bradshaw is the daughter of George Bradshaw.¹ She married Dr. Richard Stanistreet, son of Richard Stanistreet, on 19 April 1855 at Thurles, County Tipperary, Ireland.¹
     From 19 April 1855, her married name became Stanistreet.¹

     Elizabeth Isabella Weld was born in 1848 at Bagnalstown, County Carlow, Ireland.¹ She married Henry Dawson Stanistreet in 1874 at County Dublin, Ireland.¹ She died in 1941 at Falmouth, Cornwall, England.¹
     From 1874, her married name became Stanistreet.¹

     Mary Ethel Stanistreet was born in 1880 at Pembrokeshire, Wales.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Dawson Stanistreet and Elizabeth Isabella Weld.¹ She married John Edward Powell, son of Thomas Powell and Mary Hopkins, in 1903 at Christchurch, Hampshire, England.¹
     From 1903, her married name became Powell.¹

     Isabella Anne C. Stanistreet was born in 1876 at Balrothery, Ireland.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Dawson Stanistreet and Elizabeth Isabella Weld.¹

     John Edward Powell was born in 1875 at Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire, Wales.¹ He was the son of Thomas Powell and Mary Hopkins.¹ He married Mary Ethel Stanistreet, daughter of Henry Dawson Stanistreet and Elizabeth Isabella Weld, in 1903 at Christchurch, Hampshire, England.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Army Medical Corps.¹

     Mary Hopkins was born in 1840 at Llangadock, Carmarthenshire, Wales.¹ She married Thomas Powell in 1862 at Llandilofawr, Wales.¹
     From 1862, her married name became Powell.¹
