     Benjamin Haughton was born on 6 May 1781.1 He was the son of Benjamin Haughton and Abigail Boake.2 He married, firstly, Anne Murphy, daughter of Samuel Murphy and Margaret Malcolmson, on 28 December 1809.1 He married, secondly, Rachel Malcolmson, daughter of James Malcolmson, on 4 October 1826.1 He died in 1866.1
     He was a Quaker.1 He lived at Banford, Gilford, County Down, Ireland.1

     Anne Murphy was born on 28 July 1781.1 She was the daughter of Samuel Murphy and Margaret Malcolmson.2,1 She married Benjamin Haughton, son of Benjamin Haughton and Abigail Boake, on 28 December 1809.1
     From 28 December 1809, her married name became Haughton.

Samuel Murphy Haughton1

     Samuel Murphy Haughton was born on 14 January 1811.1 He was the son of Benjamin Haughton and Anne Murphy.2 He married Agnes Elizabeth Frankland, daughter of Thomas Frankland and Sarah Greenwood, on 26 April 1849.1 He died in November 1887 at age 76.1
     He was an agent for Richardson Brothers at Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland.1 He emigrated to Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.A.1

     From 26 April 1849, her married name became Haughton.
