     John James Gascoyne Harvey was born on 13 August 1892.¹ He was the son of John Maclachlan Harvey and Mary Littledale.² He married, firstly, Ethel Geraldine Pierce, daughter of John Pierce, on 27 July 1917.¹ He and Ethel Geraldine Pierce were divorced in 1934.¹ He married, secondly, Henrietta Ann Anthony, daughter of Richard Anthony, on 3 November 1939.¹ He died on 8 August 1967 at age 74.¹
     He was educated at St. Andrew’s College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ He was educated at Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Engineers and Royal Signals.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He sold Bargy Castle in 1947.¹ He lived at 8 Vesey Place, Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin, Ireland.¹

     John Pierce lived at Wexford, County Wexford, Ireland.¹

     Ethel Geraldine Pierce is the daughter of John Pierce.² She married John James Gascoyne Harvey, son of John Maclachlan Harvey and Mary Littledale, on 27 July 1917.¹ She and John James Gascoyne Harvey were divorced in 1934.¹
     From 27 July 1917, her married name became Harvey.

     Geraldine Harvey was born on 3 October 1918.¹ She is the daughter of John James Gascoyne Harvey and Ethel Geraldine Pierce.²
     She fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ She retired from the military in 1967, with the rank of Squadron Officer, late of the Women’s Royal Air Force.¹ She lived in 1976 at 2 Holme Road, Bingham, Nottinghamshire, England.¹
