Sir John Nicholl Robert Campbell, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir John Nicholl Robert Campbell, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 May 1799.2 He was the son of Sir Robert Campbell, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Pasley.1 He married Grace Elizabeth Bainbridge, daughter of Thomas Bainbridge, on 25 March 1828 at St. Pancras New Church, London, England.2 He died in 1870.2
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Hanoverian Order (K.C.H.) on 22 December 1832.1 He gained the rank of Major of Cavalry in the Honourable East India Company Service.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Campbell in 1858.
