     He was educated at Ballitore Quaker Boys’ School, Ballitore, County Kildare, Ireland.1 He was a miller and corn merchant.1 He lived at Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland.1 He lived at Clashleigh, County Tipperary, Ireland.1 He lived at Cooleville, Clogheen, County Tipperary, Ireland.1

     From 14 December 1786, her married name became Strangman.1 They had four children.1
