     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was educated at Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Aircraft and Royal Air Force Rescue Service.¹ He lived at Hardworthy, Bradworthy, Holsworthy, Devon, England.¹

     Gwynneth Grubb was born on 13 May 1908.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Page Grubb and Florence Beatrice Reed.² She died on 19 March 1973 at age 64, unmarried.¹

     Barbara Mary Grubb was born on 9 July 1911.¹ She is the daughter of Arthur Page Grubb and Florence Beatrice Reed.² She married, firstly, W/Cdr. J. H. A. Chapman, son of H. Chapman, on 10 September 1932.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Cdr. P. B. North Lewis on 5 October 1946.¹ She and Lt.-Cdr. P. B. North Lewis were divorced in 1958.¹
     From 10 September 1932, her married name became Chapman.¹ From 5 October 1946, her married name became Lewis.¹ In 1958 her name was legally changed to Barbara Mary Chapman.¹ She lived at Green Acres, Appleshaw, Andover, Hampshire, England.¹

     H. Chapman lived at Melbury, Woking, Surrey, England.¹

     W/Cdr. J. H. A. Chapman was the son of H. Chapman.² He married Barbara Mary Grubb, daughter of Arthur Page Grubb and Florence Beatrice Reed, on 10 September 1932.¹ He died on 26 March 1942, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Sara Jennifer Chapman was born on 24 September 1935.¹ She is the daughter of W/Cdr. J. H. A. Chapman and Barbara Mary Grubb.² She married Lt.-Cdr. Miles Parry, son of Colonel unknown Parry, in 1964.¹
     From 1964, her married name became Parry.¹ She lived at 20 Oakhurst Drive, Waterbourne, Hampshire, England.¹

     Colonel unknown Parry lived at Chawton, Hampshire, England.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Miles Parry was the son of Colonel unknown Parry.² He married Sara Jennifer Chapman, daughter of W/Cdr. J. H. A. Chapman and Barbara Mary Grubb, in 1964.¹ He died on 4 June 1967.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Mark Parry was born on 13 August 1966.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Cdr. Miles Parry and Sara Jennifer Chapman.²

     Lt.-Cdr. P. B. North Lewis married Barbara Mary Grubb, daughter of Arthur Page Grubb and Florence Beatrice Reed, on 5 October 1946.¹ He and Barbara Mary Grubb were divorced in 1958.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹
