     Hon. Sir Kenneth Gilmour Younger was born on 15 December 1908.¹ He was the son of James Younger, 2nd Viscount Younger of Leckie and Maud Gilmour.² He married Elizabeth Kirsteen Stewart, daughter of William Duncan Stewart, on 23 August 1934.¹ He died on 19 May 1976 at age 67.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1930 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1932 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Intelligence Corps.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Labour) for Grimsby between 1945 and 1959.¹ He held the office of Parliamentary Under-Secretary of the Home Office between 1947 and 1950.¹ He held the office of Minister of State, Foreign Office between 1950 and 1951.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1951.¹ He wrote the book The Public Service in New States, published 1960.¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1961 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He wrote the book Changing Perspectives in British Foreign Policy, published 1964.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1972.¹

     William Duncan Stewart lived at Achara, Duror, Argyllshire, Scotland.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Elizabeth Kirsteen Stewart was the daughter of William Duncan Stewart.² She married Hon. Sir Kenneth Gilmour Younger, son of James Younger, 2nd Viscount Younger of Leckie and Maud Gilmour, on 23 August 1934.¹ She died on 22 June 2003.^1,3
     From 23 August 1934, her married name became Younger.

     James Samuel Younger was born on 5 October 1951.¹ He is the son of Hon. Sir Kenneth Gilmour Younger and Elizabeth Kirsteen Stewart.² He married Katharine Anne Spencer, daughter of C. K. Spencer, in 1984.¹
     James Samuel Younger usually went by his middle name of Samuel.¹ He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England.¹ He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He was chairman of the Electoral Commission.³ He lived in 2003 at 28 Rylett Crescent, London, England.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in January 2009.³

     C. K. Spencer lived at Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Wales.¹

     Katharine Anne Spencer is the daughter of C. K. Spencer.² She married James Samuel Younger, son of Hon. Sir Kenneth Gilmour Younger and Elizabeth Kirsteen Stewart, in 1984.¹
     From 1984, her married name became Younger.

     Edward Kenneth Spencer Younger was born in 1986.¹ He is the son of James Samuel Younger and Katharine Anne Spencer.²

     Susannah Mary Younger was born on 5 June 1936.¹ She is the daughter of Hon. Sir Kenneth Gilmour Younger and Elizabeth Kirsteen Stewart.²
