     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was with Shell International Petroleum Company.¹

     Brigadier Nigel Dugdale was born in 1908.² He was the son of Major James Gordon Dugdale and Ellen Mabel Turner.² He married Penelope Elton Cunard, daughter of Cyril Grant Cunard and Beatrice Rhoda Gibbs, in 1934 at Chelsea, London, England.² He died on 6 September 1955, as a result of a bathing accident.³
     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the 17th/21st Lancers.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)²

     Antonia Rosetta Dugdale was born on 16 November 1939 at Paddington, London, England.^2,3 She is the daughter of Brigadier Nigel Dugdale and Penelope Elton Cunard.^4,2 She married Nicholas Young, son of Sir Hubert Winthrop Young and Margaret Rose Mary Reynolds, on 25 September 1969.¹
     From 25 September 1969, her married name became Young.
