     From 29 September 1938, her married name became Williams-Wynn. From 1940, her married name became Williams-Wynne.¹

     Virginia Williams-Wynne was born on 17 November 1941.¹ She is the daughter of Colonel John Francis Williams-Wynne and Margaret Gwendolen Hayward Roper.² She married, firstly, Major Thomas Peter Anthony Abbot-Davies, son of Colonel Thomas Emanuel Herbert Davies, on 18 November 1964.¹ She married, secondly, HH Sayyod Fayer bin Taimur al-Said in 1980.¹
     She was given the name of Merion Beatrice Virginia Williams-Wynne at birth.¹ From 18 November 1964, her married name became Abbot-Davies.¹ In 1968 her name was legally changed to Virginia Abbot-Davies by Deed Poll.¹

     Major Thomas Peter Anthony Abbot-Davies was the son of Colonel Thomas Emanuel Herbert Davies.¹ He married Virginia Williams-Wynne, daughter of Colonel John Francis Williams-Wynne and Margaret Gwendolen Hayward Roper, on 18 November 1964.¹ He died in 1979.¹
     He was given the name of Thomas Peter Anthony Davies at birth.¹ Major Thomas Peter Anthony Abbot-Davies usually went by his middle name of Peter.¹ In 1969 his name was legally changed to Thomas Peter Anthony Abbot-Davies by Deed Poll.¹

     HH Sayyod Fayer bin Taimur al-Said was born in 1925.² He married, fifthly, Virginia Williams-Wynne, daughter of Colonel John Francis Williams-Wynne and Margaret Gwendolen Hayward Roper, in 1980.¹ He died in 1996.²
     He held the office of Deputy Prime Minister, Security and Defence [Oman].¹
