     John Francis Nicholas Hodgkinson was born on 17 December 1918.1 He was the son of Francis Austin Langton Hodgkinson and Bertha Caroline Wigram.2 He married, firstly, Genevieve Barland in 1945.1 He and Genevieve Barland were divorced in 1947.1 He married, secondly, Dorothy Mary Gertrude Leonard, daughter of William Frederick Devereux Leonard, on 28 July 1948.3 He died on 4 January 2004 at age 85.3
