Cyril Charles Wigram was born on 18 March 1882 at West Monkton, Somerset, England.1,3 He was the son of Captain Henry James Wigram and Penelope Emily Eyre.4 He married, firstly, Mabel Mary Adams on 2 March 1912 at Romsey, Hampshire, England.1,3 He and Mabel Mary Adams were divorced in 1918.1 He married, secondly, Olivia Marie Truman, daughter of Maj.-Gen. William Robinson Truman, in September 1918 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.3 He and Olivia Marie Truman were divorced in 1928.1 He married, thirdly, Dorothy (?) in December 1932.1 He married, fourthly, Elizabeth Sondern, daughter of Dr. Frederic Sondern, on 5 December 1946.1 He died on 16 May 1952 at age 70.1
He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Somerset Light Infantry.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Squadron Commander in the Royal Flying Corps.1 He gained the rank of Squadron Leader War 1901 in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1942, where he became a POW.1
