     Sir Christopher Earle Welby-Everard was born on 9 August 1909.¹ He was the son of Edward Everard Earle Welby-Everard and Gwladys Muriel Petra Herbert.² He married Sybil Juliet Wake Shorrock, daughter of Guy Shorrock and Emma Blanche Wake, on 1 June 1938.¹ He died on 10 May 1996 at age 86.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.¹ He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1932 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1961.¹ He was General Office Commanding of the Nigerian Army between 1962 and 1965.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1965.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lincolnshire in 1966.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1974.¹

     John Bowerbank was born in 1761 at Skelton, Cumbria, England.¹ He was the son of John Bowerbank and Mary Cannon.¹ He married Mary Greenhow in 1791 at Skelton, Cumbria, England.¹ He died in 1824 at Skelton, Cumbria, England.¹

     Sybil Juliet Wake Shorrock was the daughter of Guy Shorrock and Emma Blanche Wake.² She married Sir Christopher Earle Welby-Everard, son of Edward Everard Earle Welby-Everard and Gwladys Muriel Petra Herbert, on 1 June 1938.¹ She died in 1994 at Grantham, Lincolnshire, England.³ She died on 20 July 1907.³
     Sybil Juliet Wake Shorrock also went by the nick-name of Peggy.¹ From 1 June 1938, her married name became Welby-Everard.

     Peter Rodney Earle Welby-Everard was born on 28 December 1942.¹ He is the son of Sir Christopher Earle Welby-Everard and Sybil Juliet Wake Shorrock.² He married Jennifer Frances Parsons-Smith, daughter of Lt.-Col. S. T. C. Parsons-Smith, on 7 October 1972.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He retired from the military in 1969, with the rank of Lieutenant, late of the Royal Anglian Regiment.¹ He lived in 2003 at 27 Milcote Road, Solihull, Warwickshire, England.¹
