     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.² He graduated from London University, London, England, in 1924 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1924 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was registered as a Associate Member, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (A.M.I.Mech.E.)¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Waring, of St. Bartholomew’s, City of London [U.K., 1935] on 10 February 1953.¹
