     Elizabeth Mari-Anne Gale Hill was born on 21 October 1944.¹ She is the daughter of W/Cdr. William Owen Hill and Elizabeth Marianne Wakefield.² She married Patrick Tom Hamilton Osborne, son of F. O. B. Osborne, on 6 June 1964.¹
     She was educated at Lowther College, Wales.¹ From 6 June 1964, her married name became Osborne. She lived in 2003 at Black Dub, Heads Nook, Brampton, Cumbria, England.¹
