     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Arthur Turner was born in 1883.¹ He was the son of Major George Villiers Turner and Fanny Mary Taylor.¹

     Christopher John Gowstra married Debra Anne Douglas-Hamilton, daughter of John Percy Douglas-Hamilton and June Mary Clifton Michler, in 1986 at South Africa.¹
