     Lt.-Col. Francis Lewis Rawson Gordon was born on 28 March 1878.¹ He was the son of Francis Frederick Gordon and Helen Augusta Mariana Reid.¹ He died on 30 January 1920 at age 41.¹
     He fought in the Boer War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal irish Rifles and Gordon Highlanders.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹

     Isabel Constance Helen Gordon is the daughter of Francis Frederick Gordon and Helen Augusta Mariana Reid.¹ She married Gordon Stewart Duncan of Coldrach, son of Colonel Patrick Duncan of Coldrach, on 12 July 1911.¹
     Her married name became Duncan.

     Gordon Stewart Duncan of Coldrach was the son of Colonel Patrick Duncan of Coldrach.¹ He married Isabel Constance Helen Gordon, daughter of Francis Frederick Gordon and Helen Augusta Mariana Reid, on 12 July 1911.¹ He died on 22 November 1969.¹
     He was registered as a Member, Institution of Mining Emgineers (M.I.M.M.)¹ He was registered as a Associate, Royal School of Mines (A.R.S.M.)¹

     Colonel Patrick Duncan of Coldrach gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He lived at Preasmore, Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Nita Florence Gordon was the daughter of Francis Frederick Gordon and Helen Augusta Mariana Reid.¹ She married Eric le Strange, son of Hamon le Strange, on 17 October 1906.¹ She died on 5 May 1955.¹
     Her married name became le Strange.

     Eric le Strange was the son of Hamon le Strange.¹ He married Nita Florence Gordon, daughter of Francis Frederick Gordon and Helen Augusta Mariana Reid, on 17 October 1906.¹ He died on 22 June 1918.¹

     Hamon le Strange held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Hunstanton Hall, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Catherine Gordon was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Lord Francis Arthur Gordon and Isabel Grant.¹ She died on 2 November 1915, unmarried.¹

     Sir William Traven Aitken was born on 10 June 1903.¹ He was the son of Joseph Magnus Aitken and Katherine Margaret McAffee.¹ He married Hon. Penelope Loader Maffey, daughter of John Loader Maffey, 1st Baron of Rugby and Dorothy Gladys Huggins, on 28 April 1938.² He died on 19 January 1964 at age 60.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Bury St. Edmunds between 1950 and 1964.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1963.¹
