     From circa 1505, her married name became Turin.

     William Turin of Foveran was the son of Gilbert Turin of Foveran and Helen Cheyne.² He died circa 9 February 1555/56.¹

     Edna Barme is the daughter of Berthold Barme.¹ She married Leslie Arnold Turnberg, Baron Turnberg, son of Hyman Turnberg and Dora Bloomfield, in 1968.¹

     Sir John Turing of Foveran, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir William Turing of Foveran.² He married Barbara Gordon, daughter of George Gordon of Gight, on 25 May 1624.¹ He died in 1662.¹
     In 1616 he was served heir to an elder brother.¹ He supported King Charles I in the Bishops’ Wars.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Turing, of Foveran, Aberdeenshire [Nova Scotia] circa 1638, supposedly with remainder to heirs male whatsoever.¹
