     Claude Ashley Charles Ponsonby was born on 16 August 1859.¹ He was the son of Hon. Ashley George John Ponsonby and Louisa Frances Charlotte Gordon.¹ He married Haller Horwitz, daughter of Orville Horwitz, on 28 January 1891.¹ He and Haller Horwitz were divorced in 1907.¹ He died on 3 February 1935 at age 75.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Haller Horwitz was the daughter of Orville Horwitz.¹ She married, firstly, Claude Ashley Charles Ponsonby, son of Hon. Ashley George John Ponsonby and Louisa Frances Charlotte Gordon, on 28 January 1891.² She and Claude Ashley Charles Ponsonby were divorced in 1907.² She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Ronald George Brooke, son of Sir Victor Alexander Brooke, 3rd Bt. and Alice Sophia Bellingham, on 6 May 1908.¹ She died on 2 February 1932.¹
     Her married name became Ponsonby. From 6 May 1908, her married name became Brooke.¹

     Orville Horwitz lived at Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Harold Ashley Curzon Ponsonby was born on 6 October 1891.¹ He was the son of Claude Ashley Charles Ponsonby and Haller Horwitz.¹ He married Ruth Margaret Miller, daughter of James Miller, on 23 August 1941.¹ He died on 22 July 1950 at age 58.¹

     Ruth Margaret Miller is the daughter of James Miller.¹ She married Harold Ashley Curzon Ponsonby, son of Claude Ashley Charles Ponsonby and Haller Horwitz, on 23 August 1941.¹
     Her married name became Ponsonby.

     James Miller lived at Chippenham, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     John Ashley Charles Ponsonby was born on 2 September 1948.¹ He is the son of Harold Ashley Curzon Ponsonby and Ruth Margaret Miller.¹

     Sarah Haller Ponsonby was born on 12 October 1944.¹ She is the daughter of Harold Ashley Curzon Ponsonby and Ruth Margaret Miller.¹ She married Philip James Hilton in 1971.¹
     From 1971, her married name became Hilton.¹ She lived in 2003 at Winishill, Nibley Lane, Yate, Bristol, England^G.¹

     Jane Caroline Ponsonby was born on 10 August 1946.¹ She is the daughter of Harold Ashley Curzon Ponsonby and Ruth Margaret Miller.¹ She married Stephen Thornton Parr in 1966.¹ She and Stephen Thornton Parr were divorced in 1969.¹
     From 1966, her married name became Parr.¹

     Eric Ponsonby was born on 28 April 1893.¹ He was the son of Claude Ashley Charles Ponsonby and Haller Horwitz.¹ He died on 17 October 1894 at age 1.¹
