Reverend Henry Downton1

Reverend Henry Downton was born on 12 February 1818 at Pulverbatch, Shropshire, England.1 He is the son of John Downton.2 He married Elizabeth McKee, daughter of Alexander McKee and Ann Miller, in 1849 at Ardagh, County Longford, Ireland.1 He died on 8 June 1885 at age 67 at Hopton, Suffolk, England.1
He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1840 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1843 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Curate between 1843 and 1844 at Bembridge, Isle of Wight, England.1 He was Curate between 1847 and 1849 at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was Incumbant between 1849 and 1857 at St. John’s, Chatham, Kent, England.1 He was Curate between 1857 and 1873 at Geneva, Switzerland.1 He was Rector between 1873 and 1885 at Hopton, Suffolk, England.1

Ann Miller1 

Ann Miller was born in 1792.1 She was the daughter of John Miller and Margaret Oulton.1 She married Alexander McKee on 15 May 1815.1 She died in 1822.1
From 15 May 1815, her married name became McKee.1
