     He was educated at Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.² He was educated at Bristol University, Bristol, England.² He was Legal Advisor, Foreign Office between 1960 and 1968.² He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.) in 1961.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1962.¹ He was Professor of International Law Studies between 1968 and 1976 at King’s College London, London, England.² He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1982.¹
