     John Malpas Talbot was born in 1791.1 He was the son of Richard Wogan Talbot, 2nd Baron Talbot of Malahide and Catherine Malpas.2 He died on 2 November 1827, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 In 1810 he founded the Guards Club.1 He fought in the Barrosa Heights in 1811, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.1
