     Elizabeth Duncan was the daughter of David Duncan.² She married Sir Charles Ernest Swann, 1st Bt., son of John Frederick Schwann and Henrietta Kell, on 20 September 1877.¹ She died on 13 April 1914.¹
     From 20 September 1877, her married name became Schwann.¹ From 11 December 1913, her married name became Swann.

     Sir Charles Duncan Swann, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 January 1879.² He is the son of Sir Charles Ernest Swann, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Duncan.² He married Dorothy Margaret Johnson, daughter of Captain Robert Harry Johnson, on 28 October 1909.² He died on 10 March 1962 at age 83.²
     Sir Charles Duncan Swann, 2nd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Duncan.² He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1901 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² ) He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1904 entitled to practise as a barrister.² He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1904 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hyde between 1906 and 1910.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Swann, of Prince’s Gardens, Kensington [U.K., 1906] on 13 July 1929.¹ He wrote the book The Book of a Bachelor.²

     Simon Graf von Tecklenburg was born circa 1140.² He was the son of Heinrich I Graf von Tecklenburg and Eilika von Oldenburg.² He married Oda von Berg-Altena, daughter of Eberhard I Graf von Berg-Altena and Adelheid van Cuyk-Arnsberg.¹ He died on 8 August 1202.¹

     Adolf I von Berg-Altena was born in 1157.¹ He was the son of Eberhard I Graf von Berg-Altena and Adelheid van Cuyk-Arnsberg.¹ He died in 1220.¹
     He held the office of Archbishop of Cologne between 1193 and 1205.¹

     Friedrich Graf von Berg-Altena was born in 1160.¹ He was the son of Eberhard I Graf von Berg-Altena and Adelheid van Cuyk-Arnsberg.¹ He married Alvarade von Krieckenbeck in 1185.¹ He died in 1190.¹

     Genevieve Maria Lucy Compton was born on 21 June 2004.¹ She is the daughter of James William Compton and Natasha Somers.¹

     William Edward Richard Compton was born on 25 October 2010 at Marrakech, Morroco.¹ He is the son of James William Compton and Natasha Somers.¹

     Vanessa Fiaschi Dalrymple Tennant was born on 23 August 1919.² She is the daughter of Ernest William Dalrymple Tennant and Eleonora Fiaschi.² She and Charles Brian Swann were divorced in 1955.¹ She married Charles Brian Swann, son of Harold Swann and Dorothea Alma Agnew, on 9 September 1939.² She died in 1995.²
     From 9 September 1939, her married name became Swann.

     Julia Vanessa Swann was born on 30 August 1940.¹ She is the daughter of Charles Brian Swann and Vanessa Fiaschi Dalrymple Tennant.² She married Blyth Metcalf Thompson, son of Frederik Rowland Blyth Thompson, on 22 October 1960.¹
     From 22 October 1960, her married name became Thompson. She lived in 2003 at Applecross,150 Empire Place, Sandhurst, Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa.¹

     Frederik Rowland Blyth Thompson lived at Transkei, South Africa.¹
