     Philip Albert Inman, 1st Baron Inman was born on 12 June 1892.¹ He was the son of Philip Inman and Hannah Bickerdyke.¹ He married May Amelie Dew, daughter of Edward Dew, on 27 August 1919.¹ He died on 26 August 1979 at age 87.²
     He was educated at Knaresborough School, Knaresborough, Yorkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Headingley School, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He was educated at Leeds University, Leeds, Yorkshire, West Riding, England.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1916, when he was invalided.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for London in 1945.¹ He was created 1st Baron Inman, of Knaresborough, West Riding, co. Yorks [U.K.] on 30 January 1946.¹ He was chairman of the Board of Governors of the BBC in 1947.¹ He held the office of Lord Privy Seal between April 1947 and October 1947.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) on 23 April 1947.¹ On his death his barony became extinct.²

     Judith Anne Brittan was born in 1956.¹ She is the daughter of Commander David Myles Gisborne Brittan and Bridget Ann Bennett.¹ She married Geoffrey Charles Byars Thomson, son of William Byars Thomson and Susan Mary Chetwynd-Talbot, in 1990.¹ She and Geoffrey Charles Byars Thomson were divorced in 2014.¹
     From 1990, her married name became Thomson.¹

     Graham Wilmot Brooke was born in 1865 at Aldershot, Hampshire, England.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Robert Wilmot Brooke and Elizabeth Johanna Anne MacGregor.¹ He married Margaret Graham Brooke, daughter of Reverend Henry Edward Brooke and Maria Jetter, in 1889 at Bromley, Kent, England.¹ He died on 4 March 1892 at Niger, from blackwater fever.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at St. Thomas Hospital Medical School, London, England^G.¹ He was a missionary with Christian Missionary Society in 1889.¹
