     She was Chief Officer in the Women’s Royal Naval Service during the Second World War.¹ From 9 November 1946, her married name became Hodges. She was appointed Companion, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.)¹

     Charlotte Grace Horsbrugh-Porter was born on 29 September 2010.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Andrew Alexander Marshall Horsbrugh-Porter, 5th Bt. and Jennie Downing.¹

     Captain John Michael Hodges was the son of Admiral Sir Michael Henry Hodges.² He married Elizabeth Mary Harbord, daughter of Edward Ralph Harbord and Annie Evelyn Riley-Smith, on 9 November 1946.¹ He died in 1987.
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He was appointed Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.)¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Patrick Michael Hodges was born on 16 March 1948.¹ He is the son of Captain John Michael Hodges and Elizabeth Mary Harbord.² He married Alison Mary Dossetter, daughter of W/Cdr. Roy Dossetter, in 1974.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He lived in 2003 at Bentworth Place, Bentworth, Hampshire, England.¹

     W/Cdr. Roy Dossetter lived at Andover, Hampshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force.¹

     Alison Mary Dossetter is the daughter of W/Cdr. Roy Dossetter.² She married Patrick Michael Hodges, son of Captain John Michael Hodges and Elizabeth Mary Harbord, in 1974.¹
     From 1974, her married name became Hodges.

     Rupert Henry Hodges was born in 1982.¹ He is the son of Patrick Michael Hodges and Alison Mary Dossetter.²

     Katherine Mary Hodges was born in 1978.¹ She is the daughter of Patrick Michael Hodges and Alison Mary Dossetter.²

     Judith Evelyn Hodges was born on 11 December 1952.¹ She is the daughter of Captain John Michael Hodges and Elizabeth Mary Harbord.² She married Major William F. A. Heal, son of Lt.-Col. W. A. Heal, in 1982.¹
     From 1982, her married name became Heal. She lived in 2003 at Burgh Parva Hall, Melton Constable, Norfolk, England.¹

     Lt.-Col. W. A. Heal was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He lived at Denston, Suffolk, England.¹
