     Cecil Edward Harbord was born on 31 January 1871.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. John Harbord and Caroline Penelope Hamond.² He died on 7 July 1893 at age 22, unmarried.¹

     Maurice Assheton Harbord was born on 24 October 1874.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. John Harbord and Caroline Penelope Hamond.² He married, firstly, Isabel Jessie Lowth von Wurtzburg-Schade, daughter of Frederic Baron von Wurtzburg-Schade, on 27 September 1905.¹ He and Isabel Jessie Lowth von Wurtzburg-Schade were divorced in 1918.¹ He married, secondly, Ethel Frances Goldsmith, daughter of George William Goldsmith, on 30 April 1929.¹ He died on 9 January 1954 at age 79.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Imperial Light Horse.¹ He was Inspector for Johannesburg Town Police between 1902 and 1908.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Witwatersrand [South Africa].¹

     Patrick Rupert Shirley Harbord was born on 2 August 1930.¹ He is the son of Maurice Assheton Harbord and Ethel Frances Goldsmith.² He married Jean Shirley Webb, daughter of Reginald George Webb, on 15 January 1955.¹
