     Rear-Admiral John Harvey Forbes Crombie was born on 16 February 1900 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.³ He was the son of James Forbes Crombie and Charlotte Evans Dixon.⁴ He married Rosamond Marguerite Style, daughter of Lt.-Col. Rodney Charles Style and Helène Pauline Kleinwort, on 19 October 1934.¹ He died on 31 August 1972 at age 72 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.³
     He was commissioned in 1913 with the rank of officer, in the service of the Royal Navy.³ He fought in the First World War.³ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.³ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     James Rodney Forbes Crombie was born in 1935.¹ He is the son of Rear-Admiral John Harvey Forbes Crombie and Rosamond Marguerite Style.² He married Lee Adrienne Chavet in 1961.¹ He and Lee Adrienne Chavet were divorced in 1977.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Queen’s Own Highlanders.¹

     Rosanna Mary Crombie was born in 1937.¹ She is the daughter of Rear-Admiral John Harvey Forbes Crombie and Rosamond Marguerite Style.² She married Major Malcolm Kenneth Shennan, son of Major Kenneth Gordon Woodbine Shennan and Lilah Maude Daly, on 17 April 1964.³
     From 17 April 1964, her married name became Shennan. She lived in 2003 at Ash House, Rimpton, Yeovil, Somerset, England.¹

     Major Francis Alleyne Hall was born on 13 October 1914.¹ He is the son of Captain Alleyne Hall Hall and Frances Emily Maude Lambert.¹ He married Mary Elizabeth Whittaker on 23 June 1953.¹
