     James Stronge is the son of Matthew Stronge and Anne (?)2 He married Margaret Douglas, daughter of John Douglas, in 1675.1
     He lived at Clonleigh, County Donegal, Ireland.1 He lived at Croghan, County Donegal, Ireland.1 He held the office of Sheriff of County Derry in 1682/83.1 In May 1689 he was attainted by King James II’s Irish Parliament.1
