     He graduated from St. John’s College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹

     Meyrick Selby-Lowndes was born in 1848 at Winslow, Buckinghamshire, England.² He was the son of Edward William Selby-Lowndes and Clara Mary Elizabeth Hartman.² He married Mary Louisa Dauncey, daughter of Captain Philip S. Dauncey, in 1891.² He died in 1931.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Mursley Grange, Winslow, Buckinghamshire, England.²

     Violet Isabel Selby-Lowndes was born in 1894.² She was the daughter of Meyrick Selby-Lowndes and Mary Louisa Dauncey.^3,2 She married Clement Cyprian Strickland, son of Robert Strickland and Mary Katharine Sharpe, on 11 September 1920.¹ She died in 1983.¹
     From 11 September 1920, her married name became Strickland.

     Reverend Paul Clement Lowndes Strickland was born on 9 August 1921.¹ He is the son of Clement Cyprian Strickland and Violet Isabel Selby-Lowndes.² He married Emily Hartley, daughter of Richard Herbert Hartley, on 2 February 1950.¹
