     Basil Frederick de la Pole Kenworthy was born on 24 March 1920.¹ He was the son of Joseph Montague Kenworthy, 10th Baron Strabolgi and Doris Whitley.² He married Chloë Sandeman, daughter of Henry Gerard Walter Sandeman and Hon. Phyllis Elinor Legh, on 18 March 1948.¹ He and Chloë Sandeman were divorced in 1965.¹ He died on 15 February 1998 at age 77.¹
