     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He lived at Itchen Abbas, Hampshire, England.¹

     Evelyn Gertrude Hunter was the daughter of Robert Lewin Hunter.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Robert Vesey Savile, son of Henry Bourchier Osborne Savile and Ellen Lucy Darling, in 1920.¹ She died in 1968.¹
     From 1920, her married name became Savile.¹

     William Henry Bourchier Savile was born in 1875.¹ He was the son of Henry Bourchier Osborne Savile and Ellen Lucy Darling.¹ He married Alice Mary Thorne, daughter of Major Charles Radley Brittain Thorne, in 1908.¹ He died in 1916, killed in action.¹

     Annie Smiley Clark was the daughter of Stewart Clark and Annie Smiley.² She married Bryce Allan on 28 April 1886.¹ She died on 2 October 1925.¹
     From 28 April 1886, her married name became Allan.
