     Elizabeth Swynnerton was the daughter of Humphrey Swynnerton and Cassandra Giffard.^1,2 She married, firstly, William Fitzherbert, son of Sir Anthony FitzHerbert and Mathilda Cotton.¹ She married, secondly, John Gatacre.¹ She died circa 1 April 1616.¹ She was buried on 4 April 1616.¹
     Her married name became Fitzherbert. He acquired the Manor of Swynnerton through his wife.¹ Her married name became Gatacre.¹

     Thomas Fitzherbert was the son of William Fitzherbert and Elizabeth Swynnerton.² He married Dorothy East, daughter of Edward East, in 1580.¹ He died in 1640.¹
     After his wife’s death he became a Jesuit.¹ He lived at Bledlow, Buckinghamshire, England.¹ He lived at Swynnerton, Staffordshire, England.¹
