     Pamela Georgiana Peel was born on 1 May 1900.² She was the daughter of Horace Peel and Violet Dalyell.^1,2 She married, firstly, Charles Frederick Spencer Chichester, son of Major Spencer Frederick Chichester and Helen Elizabeth Coats, on 31 October 1924.¹ She married, secondly, John Wrench on 21 December 1934.² She married, thirdly, Major John Edward Durrant Shaw, son of James Edward Shaw, on 27 November 1952.² She died on 17 September 1962 at age 62, after a car crash.¹
     From 31 October 1924, her married name became Chichester. Her marriage to Charles Frederick Spencer Chichester was annulled in 1928.¹ From 21 December 1934, her married name became Wrench. From 27 November 1952, her married name became Shaw.

     Charles Frederick Spencer Chichester was born on 18 January 1893.¹ He was the son of Major Spencer Frederick Chichester and Helen Elizabeth Coats.¹ He married Pamela Georgiana Peel, daughter of Horace Peel and Violet Dalyell, on 31 October 1924.¹ He died on 1 March 1971 at age 78, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 4th Hussars.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was Assistant Military Attaché to Romania between 1919 and 1920.¹ He was awarded the Romanian Star with swords.¹ His marriage to Pamela Georgiana Peel was annulled in 1928.¹ He gained the rank of Captain.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Major Spencer Frederick Chichester was born on 27 September 1854.¹ He was the son of Hon. Frederick Arthur Henry Chichester and Frances Marianne Tighe.¹ He married Helen Elizabeth Coats, daughter of Archibald Coats and Elizabeth Hodge, on 21 April 1892.¹ He died on 29 January 1931 at age 76.¹
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First Boer War between 1879 and 1881.¹ He fought in the Zulu War.¹ He fought in the Transvaal Campaign, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Scots Fusiliers.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.¹

     Helen Elizabeth Coats was the daughter of Archibald Coats and Elizabeth Hodge.¹ She married Major Spencer Frederick Chichester, son of Hon. Frederick Arthur Henry Chichester and Frances Marianne Tighe, on 21 April 1892.¹ She died on 4 January 1948.¹
     Her married name became Chichester.

     Susan Janet van der Byl was born on 1 April 1944.² She is the daughter of Captain Voltelin James Howard van der Byl and Yvonne Doris Croker.^3,4 She married, firstly, Alwyn Richard Dudley Smith on 22 June 1963.¹ She married, secondly, Philip Chetwode, 2nd Baron Chetwode, son of Roger Charles George Chetwode and Hon. Molly Patricia Berry, on 10 August 1967.¹ She and Philip Chetwode, 2nd Baron Chetwode were divorced in 1979.¹ She married, thirdly, Alexander Clement Gilmour, son of Lt.-Col. Sir John Little Gilmour of Craigmillar, 2nd Bt. and Lady Mary Cecilia Rhodesia Hamilton, in 1983.³ She and Alexander Clement Gilmour were divorced in 1990.³
     From 22 June 1963, her married name became Dudley Smith.¹ From 10 August 1967, her married name became Chetwode. After her marriage, Susan Janet van der Byl was styled as Baroness Chetwode on 10 August 1967. From 1983, her married name became Gilmour.

     Hon. Frederick Arthur Henry Chichester was born on 22 February 1824.¹ He was the son of Arthur Chichester, 1st Baron Templemore and Lady Augusta Paget.¹ He married Frances Marianne Tighe, daughter of Daniel Bunbury-Tighe and Hon. Frances Crofton, on 7 August 1852.¹ He died on 18 May 1863 at age 39.¹
     He held the office of Gentleman Usher of the Scarlet Rod.¹

     Frances Marianne Tighe was the daughter of Daniel Bunbury-Tighe and Hon. Frances Crofton.¹ She married Hon. Frederick Arthur Henry Chichester, son of Arthur Chichester, 1st Baron Templemore and Lady Augusta Paget, on 7 August 1852.¹ She died on 6 June 1912.¹
     Her married name became Chichester.

     Daniel Bunbury-Tighe was born in 1796.² He was the son of William Tighe.² He married Hon. Frances Crofton, daughter of Hon. Sir Edward Crofton, 3rd Bt. and Lady Charlotte Stewart, on 3 March 1825.¹ He died on 26 March 1874.²
     He was also known as Daniel Tighe.³ On 2 May 1872 his name was legally changed to Daniel Bunbury-Tighe by Royal Licence.² He lived at Rossana, County Wicklow, Ireland^G.³

     Hon. Frances Crofton was the daughter of Hon. Sir Edward Crofton, 3rd Bt. and Lady Charlotte Stewart.¹ She married Daniel Bunbury-Tighe, son of William Tighe, on 3 March 1825.² She died on 20 December 1881.
     From 3 March 1825, her married name became Tighe.³ On 11 July 1837 she was granted the rank of a baron’s daughter.² From 2 May 1872, her married name became Bunbury-Tighe.

     John Wrench married Pamela Georgiana Peel, daughter of Horace Peel and Violet Dalyell, on 21 December 1934.¹
