     Sir Robert Hill Smith of Crowmallie, 3rd Bt. was born on 15 April 1958.¹ He is the son of Sir William Gordon Smith of Crowmallie, 2nd Bt. and Diana May Violet Peel Goodchild.² He married Fiona Anne Cormack, daughter of Colonel J. D. Cormack, on 13 August 1993.¹
     He lived at Merchant Taylors’ School, London, England.¹ He was educated at Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Smith, of Crowmallie, co. Aberdeen [U.K., 1945] on 20 May 1983.² He was Vice-Chairmam of the Grampian Joint Police Board between 1995 and 1997.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal Democrat) for Aberdeenshire West and Kincardine in 1997.¹ He lived in 2003 at Crowmallie House, Pitcaple, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹

     Fiona Anne Cormack is the daughter of Colonel J. D. Cormack.² She married Sir Robert Hill Smith of Crowmallie, 3rd Bt., son of Sir William Gordon Smith of Crowmallie, 2nd Bt. and Diana May Violet Peel Goodchild, on 13 August 1993.¹
     From 13 August 1993, her married name became Smith.

     Helen Rosemary Smith was born on 9 August 1994.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Robert Hill Smith of Crowmallie, 3rd Bt. and Fiona Anne Cormack.²

     Kirsty Diana Smith was born on 8 October 1997.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Robert Hill Smith of Crowmallie, 3rd Bt. and Fiona Anne Cormack.²

     Elizabeth Smith is the daughter of Sir Robert Hill Smith of Crowmallie, 3rd Bt. and Fiona Anne Cormack.²

     James Smith was born on 8 January 1777.¹ He married Margaret Workman, daughter of Robert Workman, in 1798.¹ He died in 1867.¹
     He was founder of City (shipping) Line (later Ellerman City Line.)¹ He lived at Saltcoats, Ayrshire, Scotland.¹

     Robert Workman lived at Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland.¹

     Margaret Workman is the daughter of Robert Workman.² She married James Smith in 1798.¹
     From 1798, her married name became Smith.

     George Smith was born on 20 August 1803.¹ He was the son of James Smith and Margaret Workman.² He married Ellen Service on 21 March 1837.¹ He died on 4 March 1876 at age 72.¹
     He was chairman of City Line.¹ He lived at Mountblow, Pollokshields, Lanarkshire, England.¹
