     John de Skipwith was the son of Sir John de Skipwith and Isabella de Arches.² He married Margaret de la Lynde, daughter of Sir Walter de la Lynde.¹ He died before 1349.¹

     Margaret de la Lynde is the daughter of Sir Walter de la Lynde.¹ She married John de Skipwith, son of Sir John de Skipwith and Isabella de Arches.¹

     Sir William de Skipwith was the son of John de Skipwith and Margaret de la Lynde.² He married, firstly, Margaret fitz Ralph, daughter of Sir Ralph fitz Simon.¹ He married, secondly, unknown wife (?)¹ He died before 1369.¹

     Sir Ralph fitz Simon was feudal Lord Ormsby.¹

     Margaret fitz Ralph is the daughter of Sir Ralph fitz Simon.² She married Sir William de Skipwith, son of John de Skipwith and Margaret de la Lynde.¹

     Sir William de Skipwith was born circa 1314.¹ He was the son of Sir William de Skipwith and Margaret fitz Ralph.² He married Alice de Hiltoft, daughter of Sir William de Hiltoft.¹ He died after 1398.¹

     Alice de Hiltoft is the daughter of Sir William de Hiltoft.¹ She married Sir William de Skipwith, son of Sir William de Skipwith and Margaret fitz Ralph.¹
     Her married name became Skipwith.
