     Hugh Shuttleworth was born in 1504.¹ He was the son of Nicholas Shuttleworth and Anne Parker.² He married Anne Grimshaw, daughter of Thomas Grimshaw, in 1540.¹ He died circa 23 December 1596.¹ He was buried on 26 December 1596.¹

     Anne Grimshaw is the daughter of Thomas Grimshaw.² She married Hugh Shuttleworth, son of Nicholas Shuttleworth and Anne Parker, in 1540.¹
     Married Margaret.¹ Serjeant-at-law.¹ She lived Smithills.¹ Widow of Robert Barton.¹ With two elder sons (Sir Richard.¹ She lived Gawthorpe.¹ From 1540, her married name became Shuttleworth. Circa 1589 Ch Justice Chester.¹ On 26 December 1596 and was buried.¹

     Thomas Shuttleworth is the son of Hugh Shuttleworth and Anne Grimshaw.² He married Anne Lever, daughter of Richard Lever.¹
     He lived at Smithills, Lancashire, England.¹
