     Sir Edward Sharp, 1st Bt. was born on 13 May 1854.¹ He was the son of James Sharp and Mary Ann Deal.² He married, firstly, Clara Betts, daughter of James Betts, on 2 July 1878.¹ He married, secondly, Rose May Davies, daughter of W. Davies, on 6 November 1928. He died on 23 August 1931 at age 77.¹
     He was founder and chairma of Edward Sharp & Sons, confectioners at Maidstone, Kent, England.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Cadet Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Sharp, of Warden Court, Maidstone, co. Kent [U.K.] on 23 June 1922.¹

     James Betts lived at Maidstone, Kent, England.¹

     Clara Betts was the daughter of James Betts.² She married Sir Edward Sharp, 1st Bt., son of James Sharp and Mary Ann Deal, on 2 July 1878.¹ She died on 30 November 1925.¹
     From 2 July 1878, her married name became Sharp.

     Sir Herbert Edward Sharp, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 April 1879.¹ He is the son of Sir Edward Sharp, 1st Bt. and Clara Betts.² He married, firstly, Winifred Elizabeth Cheevers Peverley, daughter of William Cheevers Peverley, on 12 September 1908.¹ He and Winifred Elizabeth Cheevers Peverley were divorced in 1927.¹ He married, secondly, Ray Alice Mary Bloomfield, daughter of Frederick George Bloomfield, on 5 February 1927.¹ He died on 16 June 1936 at age 57.¹
     He was director of Edward Sharp & Sons.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Sharp, of Warden Court, Maidstone, co. Kent [U.K., 1922] on 23 August 1931.¹

     Wilfred James Sharp was born on 5 August 1880.¹ He was the son of Sir Edward Sharp, 1st Bt. and Clara Betts.² He married Ada Frances Meek, daughter of George Meek, on 12 June 1909.¹ He died on 2 December 1945 at age 65.¹
     He gained the rank of Army Captain.¹

     George Meek lived at Beckenham, Kent, England.¹

     Ada Frances Meek was the daughter of George Meek.² She married Wilfred James Sharp, son of Sir Edward Sharp, 1st Bt. and Clara Betts, on 12 June 1909.¹ She died on 16 October 1936.¹
     From 12 June 1909, her married name became Sharp.

     Edward Harold Wilfred Sharp was born on 22 September 1910.¹ He was the son of Wilfred James Sharp and Ada Frances Meek.²
     He was chairman of Edward Sharp & Sons.¹

     George Herbert Bryan Sharp was born on 15 February 1914.¹ He was the son of Wilfred James Sharp and Ada Frances Meek.² He died on 26 March 1923 at age 9.¹
