     Brigadier Sir Henry Walter Houldsworth was born on 28 January 1896. He was the son of James Hamilton Houldsworth.² He married Katharine Charlotte Douglas, daughter of Major George Sholto Douglas and Lady Laura Mary Wentworth-Fitzwilliam, on 7 February 1921.² He died on 9 October 1963 at age 67.²
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) and bar.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Morayshire.² He lived at Dallas Lodge, Forres, Morayshire, Scotland^G.¹

     James Hamilton Houldsworth was the son of James Houldsworth and Catherine Jane McGrath. He died before 1959.

     Major Ian George Henry Houldsworth was born on 21 December 1921. He is the son of Brigadier Sir Henry Walter Houldsworth and Katharine Charlotte Douglas. He married Clodagh Murray, daughter of Sir Kenneth Murray, on 24 November 1951.

     Clodagh Murray was born on 5 June 1928. She is the daughter of Sir Kenneth Murray. She married Major Ian George Henry Houldsworth, son of Brigadier Sir Henry Walter Houldsworth and Katharine Charlotte Douglas, on 24 November 1951.
     Her married name became Houldsworth.

     Rosemary Katharine Houldsworth was born on 2 February 1925. She is the daughter of Brigadier Sir Henry Walter Houldsworth and Katharine Charlotte Douglas.
