     He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.) in 1898.¹ He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.) in 1898.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Entomological Society.¹ He was awarded the Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1950.¹

     Henderson James Twigg lived at Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand, Hawks Bay.¹

     Violet Julia Louise Twigg is the daughter of Henderson James Twigg.² She married Winstan St. Andrew St. John, son of Richard Fleming St. Andrew St. John and Julia Louisa Churchill, on 18 December 1909.¹
     From 18 December 1909, her married name became St. John.

     Orford Henderson St. Andrew St. John was born on 13 December 1910.¹ He is the son of Winstan St. Andrew St. John and Violet Julia Louise Twigg.²
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Hertford College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1932 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the General List.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Richard Stukeley St. John was born on 15 January 1876.¹ He was the son of Richard Fleming St. Andrew St. John and Julia Louisa Churchill.² He married Edwardine Annie Georgina Jourdier, daughter of Captain Louis A. Jourdier, on 14 September 1905.¹ He died on 6 June 1959 at age 83, without issue.¹
     He fought in the North-West Frontier between 1897 and 1898.¹ He fought in the Boxer Rebellion in 1900.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Brigadier-General in 1917.¹ He was Embarkation Commandant of the Bombay between 1917 and 1919.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1919.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in 1920.¹ He was DA and QMG of the AHQ India between 1921 and 1922.¹ He was commander of the Lahore Brigade Area between 1922 and 1926.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in 1926.¹ He was DAQMG and QMG of the Northern Command, India between 1926 and 1929.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1927.¹

     Captain Louis A. Jourdier gained the rank of Captain in the French Dragoons.¹

     Edwardine Annie Georgina Jourdier was the daughter of Captain Louis A. Jourdier.² She married Maj.-Gen. Richard Stukeley St. John, son of Richard Fleming St. Andrew St. John and Julia Louisa Churchill, on 14 September 1905.¹ She died on 2 December 1963.¹
     From 14 September 1905, her married name became St. John.

     Major Edward Churchill St. John was born on 13 October 1878.¹ He was the son of Richard Fleming St. Andrew St. John and Julia Louisa Churchill.² He married Irene Shepherd, daughter of Colonel Charles Edward Shepherd, on 18 April 1906.¹ He died on 20 August 1956 at age 77.¹
     He was Chief Engineer Madras Electric Supply Company between 1906 and 1913.¹ He was registered as a Member, Institution of Electrical Engineers (M.I.E.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in 1918 in the Royal Field Artillery.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1919 in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve (Tech.)¹ He was Superintendant Engineer, Directorate of Works and Buidlings in 1938.¹ He gained the rank of Major between 1939 and 1942 in the Royal Engineers.¹ He was Deputy Assistant Director, Fortifications and Works, War Office.¹

     Colonel Charles Edward Shepherd gained the rank of Colonel in the Indian Army.¹

     Irene Shepherd was the daughter of Colonel Charles Edward Shepherd.² She married Major Edward Churchill St. John, son of Richard Fleming St. Andrew St. John and Julia Louisa Churchill, on 18 April 1906.¹ She died on 24 June 1956.¹
     From 18 April 1906, her married name became St. John.
