     Vernon John St. Clair-Ford was born on 24 June 1918.¹ He was the son of Anson St. Clair-Ford and Isabel Maria Frances Adams.² He married Patricia Mary Bedford, daughter of Frederick Gordon Hay Bedford, on 20 November 1947.¹ He died on 18 August 1952 at age 34.¹
