     Cecil Patton Down was born in 1868 at Wiltshire, England.¹ He was the son of Charles John Down and Alice Mary Templer.¹ He married Laura Violet Marshall, daughter of Colonel Charles Henry Tillotson Marshall and Laura Frances Pollock, on 20 February 1893 at Lahore, India.¹

     James Templer was born in 1787.¹ He married Catherine Lethbridge on 7 January 1811 at Launceston, Cornwall, England.¹ He died in 1858.¹

     Catherine Lethbridge was born in 1758.¹ She married James Templer on 7 January 1811 at Launceston, Cornwall, England.¹ She died in 1845.¹
     From 7 January 1811, her married name became Templer.¹

     Rear-Admiral Edward Augustus Down was born on 16 February 1777.¹ He died on 23 January 1855 at age 77 at Ilfracombe, Devon, England.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1798 in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the Battle of Cape St. Vincent.¹

     Ralph William Elliot Forster was baptised on 31 December 1813 at Tenby, Pembrokeshire, Wales.¹ He was the son of Ralph Forster and Amelia Templer.¹ He married Frances Joanna Stone, daughter of Reverend William Stone and Louisa Toogood Downing, on 30 December 1862 at Blean, Kent, England.¹ He died between 1881 and 1885 at Germany.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Georgina Forster was born circa 1827.¹ She was the daughter of Ralph Forster and Amelia Templer.¹
