     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)¹ He was Professor of Politics at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.³ He was appointed Fellow, British Academy (F.B.A.)³ He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Runciman of Doxford, of Doxford, co. Northumberland [U.K., 1937] on 10 December 2020.³ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Runciman [U.K., 1906] on 10 December 2020.³ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Runciman, of Shoreston, co. Northumberland [U.K., 1933] on 10 December 2020.

     Andrew Norman Wilson was born in 1950.² He is the son of Colonel Norman Wilson and Jean Crowder.² He married Katherine Dorothea Duncan-Jones, daughter of Reverend Arthur Stuart Duncan-Jones and Elsie Elizabeth Phare, in 1975.² He and Katherine Dorothea Duncan-Jones were divorced in 1990.²
     He was a novelist and literary critic.¹

     Beatrice Wilson is the daughter of Andrew Norman Wilson and Katherine Dorothea Duncan-Jones.^2,3 She married David Walter Runciman, 4th Viscount Runciman of Doxford, son of Walter Garrison Runciman, 3rd Viscount Runciman of Doxford and Ruth Hellman, in 1997.¹
     From 1997, her married name became Runciman. After her marriage, Beatrice Wilson was styled as Viscountess Runciman of Doxford on 10 December 2020.

     Hon. Lisa Runciman was born on 18 August 1965.¹ She is the daughter of Walter Garrison Runciman, 3rd Viscount Runciman of Doxford and Ruth Hellman.²

     Hon. Catherine Runciman was born on 18 July 1969.¹ She is the daughter of Walter Garrison Runciman, 3rd Viscount Runciman of Doxford and Ruth Hellman.²
