     He fought in the Hazara Expedition in 1888.¹ He fought in the Boer War.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Brigadier-General in the Northumberland Fusiliers.¹

     Sir Henry Hall Scott lived at Eilanreach, Inverness-shire, Scotland.¹

     Margaret Christabel Scott was the daughter of Sir Henry Hall Scott.² She married James Foster Riddell, son of John Riddell and Jane Peppercorn, on 17 April 1912.¹ She died on 3 March 1938.¹
     From 17 April 1912, her married name became Riddell.

     Alice Dorothy Riddell was the daughter of John Riddell and Jane Peppercorn.² She married George Edward Bucknill on 10 September 1885.¹ She died on 21 December 1932.¹
