She died on 18 March 2021 at age 82 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.³
     From 29 September 1962, her married name became Fairbairn. She lived in 2003 at 38 Moray Place, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹

     Dr. William Ronald Dodds Fairbairn lived at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹

     Sir Nicholas Hardwick Fairbairn of Fordell was born on 24 December 1933 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² He was the son of Dr. William Ronald Dodds Fairbairn.³ He married, firstly, Hon. Elizabeth Mary Mackay, daughter of Æneas Alexander Mackay, 13th Lord Reay and Charlotte Mary Younger, on 29 September 1962.¹ He and Hon. Elizabeth Mary Mackay were divorced in 1979. He married, secondly, Suzanne Mary Wheeler in 1983.⁴ He died on 19 February 1995 at age 61 at Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland.²
     He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.) [Scotland] in 1972.¹ He was admitted to the Faculty of Advocates in 1972.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Kinross and Perthshire between 1974 and 1983.¹ He held the office of Solicitor-General [Scotland] between 1979 and 1982.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Perth and Kinross between 1983 and 1995.² He was appointed Knight in 1988.²

     Edward Nicholas Fairbairn was born on 7 May 1965.¹ He was the son of Sir Nicholas Hardwick Fairbairn of Fordell and Hon. Elizabeth Mary Mackay.² He died on 8 May 1965.

     Charlotte Elizabeth Fairbairn was born on 22 December 1963.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Nicholas Hardwick Fairbairn of Fordell and Hon. Elizabeth Mary Mackay.² She married Ross Pople.³
